Your license key & bot file
Your license key is in your welcome email and in your portal at licenses.gixodia.com (after you set your password). Keep your welcome email private, since it contains your key.
A MetaTrader 5 account
Your login, password, and server name from your broker. A demo account works perfectly for testing first.

Download MetaTrader 5
Gixodia runs as an Expert Advisor inside MetaTrader 5 (MT5). If you do not have MT5 yet, download it free from the official MetaQuotes page. Already have MT5? Skip straight to Step 1.
You can also download MT5 from your own broker’s website. Only ever install MT5 from your broker or the official MetaQuotes page, never from unofficial mirrors.
Set up your bot in 6 simple steps
This is the whole process, clear and in order. Each step unlocks the next, with hands-on help available at every stage. Prefer not to do it yourself? Spirix can do every step for you.
Get your bot file & license key
Log in at licenses.gixodia.com, open Downloads, and download your bot file. Your license key is in your welcome email and in the portal; copy it and keep it private.
Install & log in to MetaTrader 5
Install MT5, open it, then go to File → Login to Trade Account and sign in with the account number, password, and server from your broker.
Install the bot file
In MetaTrader 5, click File → Open Data Folder, open MQL5 → Experts, and paste your bot file (GIX-EURO.ex5) there. Then restart MetaTrader 5 so it loads.
Allow the license connection: do this first
Go to Tools → Options → Expert Advisors tab. Tick “Allow algorithmic trading” and “Allow WebRequest for listed URL”, click the + / Add button, and enter https://api.gixodia.com, then click OK. Without this the license cannot verify and the bot will not run.
Attach the bot & paste your key
In the Navigator, right-click Expert Advisors → Refresh, then open a chart for the bot’s pair (e.g. EURUSD) and drag GIX-EURO onto it. In the popup: Common tab → tick “Allow Algo Trading”; Inputs tab → paste your License Key, then click OK.
Confirm it is live
Keep the Algo Trading button in the toolbar on (green). A blue graduation-cap icon next to GIX-EURO on the chart means the license is verified and the bot is running. Done.

Running around the clock
Your bot trades only while MetaTrader 5 is open and connected. Here is how to keep it running, or how to skip the hassle entirely.
Use a VPS for 24/7
If you turn off your computer or lose internet, the bot pauses. For uninterrupted, around-the-clock trading, run MT5 on a VPS, an always-on Windows server in a data centre. Many brokers offer one, or you can use a Forex VPS provider.
On a Mac?
MetaTrader 5 for Mac does not run Expert Advisors natively. Run the bot on a Windows VPS (recommended) or inside a Windows virtual machine on your Mac, then follow the same steps.
Or skip all of it: let Spirix run it for you
